The piCObaby™ Smokerlyzer® is a breath carbon monoxide monitor, specifically designed for use with pregnant smokers. Intended for multi-patient use by healthcare professionals in smoking cessation programmes and research, the familiar traffic light system provides visual motivation to the mum-to-be to quit smoking whilst also providing the feotal reading both in ppm and %FCOHb.

SteriBreath Eco Mouthpieces for use with Bedfont® breath analysis monitors, combining ease of use with optimum infection control.

D-piece

The D-piece™ incorporates a one-way valve to prevent air being drawn back from the monitor. The mouthpiece itself has a specifically integrated infection control filter which removes and traps >99% of airborne bacteria and >96% of viruses and any moisture from the patient’s breath1. The D-piece should be changed every four weeks or more often if visibly soiled. An automatic reminder will appear on the screen every 28 days.

OneBreath

The OneBreath mouthpiece is a single-use bacterial filter mouthpiece and can be attached directly to the monitor to take a breath sample. The OneBreath incorporates a one-way valve and an infection control filter, which are proven to remove and trap >99.9% of airborne bacteria1.

Smoking in Pregnancy Software

Smoking in Pregnancy is a software specifically designed to help mums-to-be quit smoking. Compatible with the Micro+™ and piCObaby™ Smokerlyzer®. Once the monitor is connected to the computer, it uses a traffic-light colour system and shows the live CO reading of the expectant mother as well as the %FCOHb conversion. As seen on BBC’s Misbehaving Mums, the Smoking in Pregnancy software is a valuable tool to help expectant mothers quit smoking.
