As a medical company, there \nare many compliances to adhere to, but they are pleased to announce they\n have passed their very first unexpected audit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The BSI, otherwise known as the British Standards Institution, is \nthe national standards body for the UK and implements technical \nstandards on a wide range of products and services. The BSI introduced \nunannounced audits in April 2014, aiming to assure day-to-day compliance\n of the manufacturer\u2019s product and quality management systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Louise Bateman, QA &amp; RA Manager, stated,<\/strong> \u201cIt \nwas a surprise but not something that worried us. Overall I\u2019m very happy\n with how the audit went and you can see at times like this how the \ncompany is developing in all aspects and how hard the teams work to \nenable us to sell medical products into the market\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trevor Smith, Chairman, adds,<\/strong> \u201cThis is truly good \nnews as we can use it as one of the barometers as to the \u201chealth\u201d of the\n Company. When the auditors turned up unexpected yesterday I happened to\n be in reception. In the past an event like this would fill me with \nnerves; however, I immediately felt at ease considering all the hard \nwork that has gone into our QA. This is nothing short of excellent!
