Bedfont is thrilled to \nannounce that it has just received the ISO13485:2016 CMDCAS certificate \nwhich is a re-certificate on the new standard, 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The multi export award winning British company is revered as a \npioneer in the breath analysis market with their products now available \nin over 76 countries. Without the ISO13485 CMDCAS certificate, it is \nimpossible to enter the Canadian market and so this recertification \nenables Bedfont to continue exporting to Canada, with hopes to grow \nsales in this area by over 20% in the next 5 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Louise Bateman, QA &amp; RA manager, explains,<\/strong> \n\u201cthe ISO13485:2016 is the best internationally accepted accreditation to\n show compliance to regulators for the medical device industry. It is an\n extremely important recognition to our company\u2019s commitment to produce \nthe highest quality standard of medical device to sell to our \ncustomers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jason Smith, Managing Director, adds, <\/strong>\u201cFor only a \nsmall company of 41 employees, to have exports account for roughly 80% \nof our annual turnover is a great achievement.
