Medical Gas Pipeline Systems Validation and Verification Equipment

A range of equipment has been developed by Bedfont to help simplify the testing and validation of piped medical gas systems. The equipment complies with the latest version of HTM 2022 and has been developed for Quality Control Pharmacists and Hospital Engineers that need to validate and verify piped medical gas systems as detailed in the standard.

The equipment includes instruments for measuring the purity of Air, Nitrous Oxide (N2O), Oxygen (O2), and Entenox (50%:50% O2/N2O) and for measuring trace moisture and dewpoint. A Particulate Matter Sampler for testing particulates and gas detection tubes, for impurity checks on compressed air as well as medical gases, are also included.

For Hospital Engineers commissioning new systems the equipment also includes the TM3 Medi-Gas Check. This is a portable unit that provides a convenient way to reinforce the cross connection tests and initial check gas identification once pipelines have been filled and purged with the requisite gas.
