GastroCH4ECK® achieves excellent results at the National Physical Laboratory
The National Physical Laboratory, recently tested the GastroCH4ECK® against the gold standard Agilent 6890 gas chromatograph (GC) to investigate the viability of the GastroCH4ECK® as an accurate apparatus for monitoring Methane levels in the breath.
The GastroCH4ECK®, due to be launched by the end of 2011, is the newest member of the Gastrolyzer family. A portable desktop monitor that measures both Hydrogen (H2) and Methane (CH4) levels in expired breath samples for detection of a range of gastrointestinal disorders. With the ability to give both patient-side, real-time readings as well as analysing patient samples using a breath-bag system.

The test results show that the new GastroCH4ECK® readings were comparable with the Agilent 6890 confirming the accuracy of readings. See report for full details.
