BEDFONT IS FINALIST IN PRESTIGIOUS HEALTH INVESTOR AWARDS

Bedfont makes the final cut for the ‘Healthcare technology of the year’ award

The sparkling ceremony for this year’s HealthInvestor Awards was held on 27th May at London’s iconic Hilton Park Lane. Bedfont Scientific Ltd was proud to attend as finalists in the ‘Healthcare technology of the year’ category.

The black-tie event began in style with a pre-dinner champagne reception, and guests were treated to a sumptuous four-course meal. Enigmatic host, Armando Iannucci, took to the stage to keep the crowds entertained throughout the evening. Armando is an award-winning comedian, writer, director, performer and radio producer, whose creations include the popular BBC Four series, ‘The Thick of It’.

The HealthInvestor Awards are renowned for showcasing excellence and innovation in the healthcare sector. The panel of high-level judges was headed up by Lord Ara Darzi, from whom Bedfont was delighted to accept a coveted award at the Arab Health Awards in February 2010. This time, it was unfortunately not meant to be, but reaching the final cut has reinforced Bedfont’s position as a market leader in their field.

The evening was rounded off with a casino, with proceeds going to worthy charities, The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign and Save the Children. The final total has yet to be confirmed, but it is hoped that the casino raised around £25,000.
