VoicePOD™ is a new and innovative user programmable voice messaging system. The portable unit is designed to provide a public announcement whenever a person is detected within the vicinity. When the built-in motion sensor is triggered, the VoicePOD™ will output a clear voice message to remind staff and visitors of a special risk or hazard.
VoicePOD™ has the flexibility to allow users to program their own unique messages in one or more languages, accents and dialects.VoicePOD™ is a truly universal product: any language; any risk; any location.The VoicePOD™ has applications within health and safety.
A voice message from the in built speaker announces "Caution, this floor has just been cleaned and may be wet and slippery...please take care." Blind and partially sighted persons are made fully aware of impending danger. VoicePOD™ ensures that DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) requirements are met in full.

Infection Control
The VoicePOD™ can be used where issues such as infection control are a particular concern. Within the entrance to hospital wards for example, the VoicePOD™ can reinforce written health and safety guidelines. On a person entering or leaving the ward, the VoicePOD™ can announce "For reasons of infection control, please ensure you wash your hands with the gel provided."
Similar reminders to wash hands can also be broadcast within toilets to encourage appropriate levels of hygiene throughout the hospital and protect the health and safety of staff, patients and visitors.
VoicePOD™ Remote
VoicePOD™ can be supplied as a stand alone product where the messages are selected by the on-board DIL switches. Alternatively, you may purchase the infra-red remote control unit to select messages, control volume, select time delays and also switch the VoicePOD™ on and off when required.
The remote control is universal, and will operate any VoicePOD™ that you may have on site. Site Managers need only attach the control to their key fob and operate any VoicePOD™.
